Tour Plan
Day 1
Destination: Colombo
Drive: approximately 3 ½ Hours.
On arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be met and assisted by our airport representative, who will direct you to your very own chauffeur, who will transfer you to Kithulgala.
Kitulgala a small town perched on the hills that slope down to the flowing waters of the Kelani River. The main attractions include whitewater rafting, trekking, and the Keleni Forest Reserve, a popular bird-watching location.

Day 2
Destination: Kitulgala
Drive: N/A
After breakfast, make your way to the Kelani River and enjoy a thrilling day of white-water rafting.

Day 3
Destination: Sandun Ella
Drive: Approximately 10 minutes
After breakfast at your campsite, leave for Sandun Ella Waterfall for a day of abseiling. Hike up this stunning waterfall and enjoy the adrenaline rush of a 100-foot-controlled abseil.
After your fill of abseiling, enjoy a trek through the waterfall. Head back to your campsite on completion for some much-needed rest and relaxation. No climbing or abseiling experience is necessary to enjoy this incredible experience.

Day 4
Destination: Sinharaja
Drive: Approximately 4 hours.
After breakfast, leave for the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. It is the least disturbed and biologically unique lowland rainforest remaining in Sri Lanka. It is a treasure trove of endemic species, including trees, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Because of the dense vegetation, wildlife is not as easily seen as in dry-zone national parks. Bird watching is particularly interesting as it is home to 95% of the endemic birds of Sri Lanka.

Day 5
Destination: Sinharaja
Drive, N/A.
After breakfast, leave for Sinharaja Nature Reserve for birding. One of the major features of Sinharaja is the presence of "feeding flocks. "Feeding Flocks". These flocks give life to the forest, which, under normal conditions, is silent and uneventful. It is also the highlight of bird watching in the forest. There are endemic birds to be seen in Sinharaja. They are the Red-faced Malkoha, the Sri Lanka blue magpie, the Ashy-headed Babbler, the White-headed Starling, and the Green-billed Coucal, the rarest of Sri Lankan birds.

Day 6
Destination: Udawalawe
Drive: Approximately 3½ Hours
Udawalawe National Park lies south of the central hills in the island's dry zone. An important eco-tourism destination that is famous for the large numbers of elephants that live in the park and its fascinating bird life.

Day 7
Destination: Nuwara Eliya
Drive: Approximately 4 ½ Hours.
After breakfast, leave for the heart of Tea Country, Nuwara Eliya. En route, visit St. Clair's Waterfall and Devon Waterfall.

Day 8
Destination: Dambulla
Drive: Approximately 4 Hours
After breakfast, head for Dambulla and explore the famous Golden Rock cave temple, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, a vast isolated rock mass with five caverns, is the largest and best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka.

In the afternoon, I leave for Sigiriya. Enjoy the exhilarating climb to the top of the rock fortress of Sigiriya, a 5th-century "Fortress in the Sky."

Day 9
Destination: Colombo
Drive: Approximately 4 ½ Hours
After breakfast, leave for Colombo and check in at your hotel on arrival. If you have spare time, you can take in the sights of the capital city. Drive through the commercial and city center known as the "Fort", built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, where grand colonial-era buildings stand alongside modern office structures. See the vibrant markets and bazaars of Pettah and the National Museum with its fine collection of lovely antiques and art from Sri Lanka.
You could visit a Buddhist temple and a Hindu Kovil to experience the diversity of religion, ethnicity, and customs of the people. Alternatively, you may indulge in some shopping.

Day 10
Destination: Airport
Drive: approximately 1 hour (31 km).
Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, after breakfast, your chauffeur will comfortably take you to the international airport in time for your departure flight.
